Disappointing

First it does not cool constantly the compressor stops at unpredicatable intervaals in spite of all settings being set and the temp indicicator being set at 60 degrees. The second issue I have that even at lowest fan speed there is a significant fan noise. At this price this is a poor buy.

it does cool but makes noise

Submitted by boruch - it cools well. But makes rattaling noise from fan where air comes out. if I put my hand on fan it wouldnt make noise. PC Richards offered to bring it back and exchange but I already installed it in the wall which wasnt easy. The Father and Son Company came under warranty and suggested to put a folded paper between the fan and frame. They said Many people do that. I did it too. The folded paper helped reduce the noise. But prevents me to rotate the fan up and down. For this kind of money Id expect better quality and better warranty service.
