I have never looked at Microwaves in kitchens and given them much thought but our new microwave is a constant talking piece to those that visit our new kitchen. the sleek design really is eye catching and we constantly hear "I really like that microwave". Beyond that its highly functional and does all we can ask for in terms of a microwave.

We bought this Microwave 2.5 years ago and it already broke. The warranty only covers 1 year. I spend 650.00 on this microwave and didn't even get 3 years out of it and its out of GE hands.

It heats up faster than my old unit. The microwave is the most used item in my kitchen. I wanted a good one and I got it. I also like the clean appearance of the unit. The surface light provides an abundance of like to my stove cooking surface.

I just installed it myself...needed help with lifting it into place (as the instructions suggest) looks great!! I always consult Consumer Reports before buying just about everything. I chose this one because it was ranked third on the recomended list and it was on sale at Home Depot.....WIN-WIN !!!!
It's super quiet...
Only problem...I didn't receive an owners manual with the unit. Just the instalation guide and the template. Would be nice if I could learn everything this thing can do & what all the buttons are for.

This microwave looks like no other, where the buttons are on the door and the door is the entire length of the microwave. It has features that are included which I like, but can't use yet. It has Bluetooth to make the clock synchronize with the clock of the matching stove. It also turns the over head light and vent on when the matching stove top is turned on. It looks elegant looking and heats up fast. Can't say enough good things about it.

We have had this micorwave for 2 years and has failed.The controls started to work intermittently them failed completly. We've been told the problem is in the door/control panel and it needs to be replaced. The replacement door is as much as we paid for the unit, not including the labor.
