Good cost/value 33" wide refrigerator. Modern design and good usable volume. Silent compressor work. Two weak points: 1. plastic boxes looks not heavy duty - thin walls and 2. Refrigerator evaporator fan motor is very noisy when it working ( the problem begins in one month after purchasing)

My husband likes the water and ice dispenser! I love the side by side design. My previous refrigerator, which came with the house, had a lower freezer that opened with a door and had a pullout wire drawer that was difficult to use...it was a mess.

I think this is the best refrigerator I've ever owned. Its quite and looks great in my kitchen. I bought it when it was on sale for 999.00 bucks. Great deal for such a great fridge.

We were so happy to find this refrigerator. We wanted a large capacity side by side but most were too wide to fit the space we had available. This one meets both of those needs not to mention a great freezer with and water dispenser and ice maker.

The freezer space in this fridge is small/narrow. You'll run out of space easily if you are a person who stores even basics in the fridge. A pizza box cannot lay flat on a shelf in the freezer compartment. The quality is just okay, not cheap, but impressively strong. My GREATEST concern is that having purchased and installed genuine and correct model 'XWF' GE filters which are to last 6 months a piece do NOT dispense water at the proper "strength" for the indicated months per filter, but only for two months per filter. To boot, the filters are NOT inexpensive. I followed the GE troubleshooting instructions to no avail. I prefer my LG French Door fridgerator... Even aesthetically, the door handles are cheesy , I think. I would NOT buy again or refer to a friend.

We haven't owned a GE appliance since the 70's. IWe believe they cooled better than.
We do not like the fake stainless steel doors that are not streak free as a matter of fact we are trying to determine whether to return it altogether. Not happy at all will only cool to 36 we want it all the way to 34ﾟ are we don't want it.

Ice maker got over filled and made a funny noise. After I dumped the ice out of the tray and started again it stopped. No noise since then. I turned off the ice maker when it looked full.

At first i was going to return the refrigerator because it had a continuous high pitch whine that was very irritating. Fortunately i was above to get a repair person to look at it whom immediately knew what the problem was. He replace the Chinese made fan with a Thai made fan which fixed the noise.
He also fixed the ice dispenser so it did not leak.
Much better.
Would have been much more satisfactory if it had come out of the box with all the fixes
This was the only refrigerator in stock when ours died so had no choice

We got the fridge a week ago and so far it has been wonderful. The fridge is narrower than our 22 cubicft fridge but offer lot more room. I love the door bell if the door is opened for too long, the lights are bright inside as well as the water led. Water filter is small which is great and the ice maker is amazing, lot better than previous one so less spillage. Only issue we have is the noise, it is loud and specially when there is no other noise in the house.

Was a gift. Would not have bought myself. Had similar item. Same ice maker. Failed . Ice bin pops out. Flap stays open. Ice jams up. Open freezer door ice falls all over floor. This ice maker will eventually fail as well. Freezer unbelievably small.

I had my last GE side by side for 37 years and thought I was pushing my luck. I have been looking for a refrigerator that could fit in my tight space and this one barely made it. The unit is 33 inches wide and I had to make some minor adjustments to my current opening. The refrigerator side is well designed with plenty of room. I only gave 4 stars because the freezer side is a little small with the ice maker. I can't put the items in the door like my old GE. However with a little creative stacking and packing I was able to fit my stuff inside but it is tight.The icemake works well, so I guess you ghave to give up something to get something

Only issue I had was the ice maker. At first it didn't work for a week.pressure on the water coming in was great. Everything was set up correctly. Then after the first week it start working. Although it still slow in making ice. Everything else works great

well I'm happy with the fridge in most aspects. The things I do not like are the finger prints all over the doors. I understand I guess I should of looked into the product a little more to make sure it was finger print resistant. My biggest complaint about the fridge is the compressor makes a humming noise while running. I hear the compressor running in the other room. If I was to buy another fridge I would spend the few hundred more and get the upgrade of this one.
