We wanted a chest freezer for awhile but didn't have the room. We were very excited when we saw this freezer as it is the perfect size. But don't let the size fool you... it gets super cold. We haven't had to put our above medium!

So far I love this freezer. I have not had it long, but on even the middle cool setting everything stays frozen. It is also very quiet and has a lot of room. I appreciate the fact it comes with a basket inside as well. Very happy with purchase! I just wish they had it in a color other than white. Black would look much sleeker. Also, the price was a bit on the higher end for similar size products from other brands. Chose GE because of other reviews and knowing it is a reputable brand, despite being a bit more expensive than the others. I wanted something that would be guaranteed to last long, so I hope this does. The added warranty (additional cost) and in-home service is appreciated so I know it will work for 3 years at least!

We purchased this freezer because we missed our previous large size freezer that we sold when we relocated to another state.We downsized from a house into an apartment while deciding where we wanted to purchase a home. Our apartment has a standard size apartment refrigerator/freezer that doesn't hold much, and we found ourselves having to run to the grocery store every week on our days off to shop, because we couldn't buy extra food and freeze it. Also in the late Spring/Summer/Fall Seasons we could not buy a lot of fresh Fruits/Vegetables because we couldn't freeze them. We missed being able to do all of those things, so decided to purchase a small chest freezer, and based on research and reviews for this freezer, we purchased it. It fits great in our small apartment, is very quiet, and is bigger inside that we thought it would be. Whether you live in a house, condo, or apartment, this would be a great freezer for you. We no longer have to go grocery shopping "every week," on our days off, because of this freezer, which in itself is a great thing!

Set up was simple. Works well. Needs a rear panel to cover the cutout exposing the mechanics and electrical components. It's got the screw holes and power cord grommet for one, but customer service says it was removed for cooling. I call Bravo Sierra on that. But, it does keep food frozen.

So far so good. only have had it for a few weeks but its so ideal for 2 people. We have a french door (small 19 cubic counter depth) and just not enough freezer space. We usually shop at Sams club and we like to food prep for the week and portion out meats since we both like to cook. We have a small apartment and this unit doesn't take up a lot of space at all. So far we are very happy with it.

Great steady freeze. Very quiet. Great deep-space. Only draw back on the settings dial has no numbers on an "exact" temp settings preferred. No inside thermometer to let you know how cold the freezer is. So you just guessing degrees.

Just plugged in my 5 cu foot freezer. Its a bit louder then I expected, but not too loud. The unit isn't too heavy and is compact. I feed my dogs a raw diet and bought this freezer for thier extra food. I am looking forward to filling this freezer up and using it!

This freezer is great for our garage. We have not had it through our summer yet, but it definitely helped over the holidays, starting around Halloween. It has allowed us to maximize meat deliveries and gifts of breads and sweets that we couldn't consume when they arrived. The basket is nice for holding items like Popsicles. The depth makes it easy to put a 16lb turkey in there. I this freezer so much, my mom asked for one for her garage, too.
