Seems I've always heard the Frigidaire brand name, and in a good light. Refrigerators by Frigidaire we're in my home growing up, and now I trust Frigidaire air conditioners. A friend helped me get a smaller unit (which I still use and guided me to buy this 8,000 BTU AC).I'm happy with my Frigidaire appliances.

My Review for 8,000 BTU Window Room Air Conditioner.This unit was delivered in good condition by UPS, Unboxing was very easy.Assembly was a slight challenge, I found that the instructions where a bit sketchy. However I realized that some minor disassembly was needed to secure the adjustable window panels, this was not properly illustrated in the directions. However I was able to figure out how to accomplish the disassembly and reassembly so to proceed with the installation. There was a minor second issue I encountered there are pre-drilled on the top of the unit one out of 4 was drilled to large for the provided screws to properly secure the window panel plastic frame, I had to go through my own hardware to find the right size screw No Big Deal For Me. All in All the installation went fairly well, I must say this unit is working well. There is one thing that I believe should be changed in the design of the unit, the Remote Control is the only way to change the settings of this unit aside from using your phone with a WIFI connection, I believe that having mechanical switching and direct input by the user is a less user friendly design. If someone looses the wireless control some consumers will have a problem. I Am Old School and am age 62 I am advance in computer building maintenance and repair, So for me these issues are no big deal. I do believe that having direct input via front panel switches is very important for many people. In my opinion' This is Something That Frigidaire should reconsider in future designs. I Hope That My Review helps your designers at Frigidaire.

This ac unit is perfect! I love the thermometer feature that is in the remote control. I have thus unit in a mobile home in a bedroom the moment I installed the unit my aunt mentioned that she could feel a temp change in the living room next to the bedroom this is installed in.

This room air conditioner works so well, that when my first was damaged in a storm, I bought the exact same model again! The first lasted a little over 8 years before it was damaged, and I fully expect this one to last a long time, too. It cools my upstairs room wonderfully, and the economy and fan control settings save electricity when I'm not actually upstairs. I am very pleased with this product! Thanks, Frigidaire!
