This freezer would have gotten a 5 star review if it had a lock. Maybe new laws don™€™t allow locking freezers any longer. However we have 100 plus temperatures here and our old freezer ran constantly and was getting too hot to even touch the outside. This garage/outside freezer stays cool. Just what we wanted. I wish it had a lock so it couldn™€™t be opened or pop open if something fell on the inside. We used a ratchet strap to make sure it doesn™€™t pop open or a bear open it.

I bought the upright freezer because I have always had Frigidaire appliances, this new to us house has all GE appliances. Delivery went smoothly. Plugged it in a solid green light, it was a week before I put my frozen food in it. All was well for another Week and half. My son alerted us to a constant alarm sound and then flashing green light, we reset it and waited. We had to reset a few days later, then we went out of town for the weekend, came home to everything dethawed. We lost it all. Then we leveled it again and reset it. So far the last week has been good, but that is a lot of money to lose for an appliance that cost so much.

So far the freezer is operating perfectly It is quieter than our previous one. The only drawback is, it does not have a digital gauge to display the temperature and no alarm in case of failure. I think that in these days of advanced technology that it wouldn™€™t cost much to include these features

I had to buy this freezer quickly as my old one died. It is the perfect size. I love that I can see everything at a glance making organization simple. It has a very visible light at the bottom that tells me it is operating properly. I love the alarm it has is the temperature is falling. It went off when I checked on it as it was doing its initial startup. Very happy with my purchase.

We got this 06/03/2024 and it went out on 07/04/2024. Tech couldn't come out until 7/10/2024 and then said part 5304523833 had to be ordered and would not come back until 7/23/2024. Now getting text/email messages this part is back ordered and no one seems to know when it will get here. Can/t talk to anyone on different numbers I've tried, only get automated that says part backordered, will updated when it comes in, goodbye. This is ridiculous. I had to buy another freezer immediately as I had just gotten over 300 lbs of meat from the meat locker. Someone needs to do something about this issue.

I never seen this before I bought it or I would not have bought it to tall and I changed the door to the other side and now it makes a loud click noise when I open it and I open door and fridge moves I would rather have my old Frigidaire it was a converterable from freezer to frig I guess I have to call repair

This freezer cools very well. We like that. We do not like that every time you open or shut the door, it sounds as if it is breaking. Big mechanical thump if we open it more than about 15 percent of the door's ability to open. Is it breaking?

Mixed bag, but mosty good

1st Freezer was returned to HD with excessive moisture on food and inside, and the door and temperature alarms did not work. 2nd Freezer we kept after we allowed 24 hrs before loading food. 2 days later food was all frozen and temp with well below zero, so good. Still the door alarm and temperature alarm don't work. We waiting to see if everything else is good before calling Frigidaire service on the alarms.
