The Cooktop is good but the knobs are very bad and in a week gone bad. 3 out of 5 knobs are broken. When we requested for replacement being in warranty, we received only 1. Also the grate height is more for flame to reach the dish. There should be option for grid with lower heights

I love the cooktop, but the burner knobs are inferior. A knob broke within the first month of installation. Another one last week. I was able to work around the missing knob, but having two out of commission is not doable. The knobs break because they are cheaply made. The plastic rod easily cracks and the spring breaks. This has been a known problem for Frigidaire, yet the knobs continue to be sold on the cooktops. The most discouraging aspect is the cost of the replacements - $45.

We purchased this gas cooktop in 2019 from Lowes. No replacement part numbers that I can find. Model Number FFGC362655. I have had to move the unbroken knob around to use the cooktop. Terrible item and this one wasn't cheap

This stove is only about 6 months old and 4 of the 5 knobs are broken. I have to move the one knob to different burners to use the stove. Very disappointing and cannot get Frigidaire to stand behind their product. would give a NO STAR if that were an option.

I didn't have a choice on this range because my builder had already installed it but I knew exactly what I was getting into based on the reviews. Less than two months in and two of the knobs are broken even after being treated incredibly gently since I knew they were fragile.

As over 150 other reviews have already stated, the knobs on this stovetop are defective and will certainly break within a year of use. Two of our knobs broke almost right away, and even after little (very careful) use, the other three are now broken as well. I was able to receive two replacement knobs from Frigidaire, which are slightly different (they clearly knew of the design flaw of the ones that shipped with the unit), but now Frigidaire is asking for over $120 to replace the additional knobs. The units clearly ship with defective knobs -- I'm shocked that Frigidaire won't replace the remaining three with reinforced, safer knobs. As of right now three burners are unusable, and frankly, unsafe. 60% of the unit is now a safety hazard, and I find it very disappointing that Frigidaire won't make things right with a unit that was clearly defective when it was sent. I'm surprised they haven't recalled cooktops shipped with those knobs by now.

Sheesh! The rest of the Gas Range Cooktop works fine, but there really should be a recall on these crummy knobs. 9 knobs have cracked and broken on us in the last 2 years of owning this range, and since the first 2 broke within a month after owning this cooktop- we've been treating the rest of the original and the replacement knobs like delicate Faberge eggs. This is ridiculous. I've waited on hold for customer care specialists... only to be told I could only purchase new knobs at over $40 per pop. We currently need 5 new ones. I worry that it's unsafe to use a burner with a cracked/broken knob. What if we turn the knob to the off position, but the stem doesn't completely turn the mechanism to turn OFF the gas? I can't imagine these cheap pieces of plastic cost Frigidaire/Electrolux much to make. I wonder if that price outweighs the price of customer safety and satisfaction?

Based on your Message on your website you say, "Frigidaire is passionate about making it easier for all families to live a little better everyday." When in truth it is hard to live better when all the knobs on this cooktop break and you can't turn it on. We paid over $1,000 for this cooktop last year, and now we cannot even use it. Instead, you are asking us to buy replacement knobs for an additional $45 each with not much hope of those lasting beyond the end of the year. We had no idea we were investing in a continual purchase agreement in this cooktop.....good thing we have a good pair of pliers. What happened to pride in American ingenuity and workmanship. Very disappointed and will probably buy the knobs so we can sell the unit and replace it with something not produced by Frigidaire.

The stove is great, but the knobs are piece of junk cheap plastic. All of ours broke, and unfortunately the replacement is $50 a piece on line. Waste. Of. Money. Never buying a Frigidaire product again.

Less than a year old and had to replace all of the cheap plastic knobs and $45 each. I currently have 3 more broken. I called customer service and was on hold for 15 minutes and then disconnected. Called back and I finally hung up after 30 minutes. I™™ve been unable to find a stainless steel replacement but at this rate I would be better off replacing the entire cooktop. If you are going to sell crap knobs at least make the price affordable. Not worth $5 but that would be worth it because you won™™t get 6 months out of them. If you buy this garbage cooktop then it should come with a 24 pack of knobs. Guaranteed you will need it. And I will add that by reading the reviews, I™™m clearly not the only person having this problem.

We have had this cooktop for about a year and a half and have replaced every knob 3 times. They are super expensive to replace. A field technician came out and said it was because we were turning them too hard. I would steer clear of buying this cooktop as Frigidaire am hasn™™t done anything to improv the quality of the knobs. Very disappointed

I wish i would have read the reviews about the knobs breaking and how many others have been affected by such a poor product. I have 1 knob that™™s not broken and I believe it™™s because I rarely use that burner. Very unhappy that this product is still available, should be recalled years ago. Every single one of my knobs over the past 6 months have broken. They are also very expensive to replace. Are the replacement knobs just as poorly made? Will this become an ongoing issue. I am down to my last, fully functioning knob and cant really afford to replace all of them at the over the top price being charged. I used to love Frigidaire even though most of my friends said stay away, I didn't listen. Now here I am. Stay clear of this cooktop.

I've had this cooktop for a year or so and the knobs have been broken twice. I've searched everywhere for a replacement and the cheapest is still $50 a piece. This is quite expensive to replace all 3 of my knobs. I would expect better quality from Frigidaire and had I known, I wouldn't have bought from this brand.

Bought this gas cooktop December 2020 and started using Jan 2021, so far one knob broke and center eye will not start if it is hot (if you use the eye, turn it off, it won™™t start again until it cools off). I had this cooktop in my last home (installed 2018) and never had an issue, it worked perfectly. This new cooktops don™™t seem as reliable as the ones Frigidaire sold in the past.

I bought the FFGC3626SS 36" gas stove within a few months 3 knobs broke. We need to file consumer complaints or class action law suit. Im going to talk to my nephew and his wife who are attorneys. I bet they would want to litigate against this big industry manufacturer who takes our mony for a brand new product that almost 100% of the time need replacement knobs that cost half of the orignal investment of the appliance.

I have had this for 3 years. All the knobs are broken. The last time I replaced one it cost $44.00, Ludacris! Now 5 more. That will be $264 total spent on knobs. I see where you are making your money. Cooktop is difficult to keep clean. Scratches Very easily. After reading all about all the other broken knobs this is definitely a manufacturing defect. You need to hold yourself accountable. Re-design them in metal and send a set to every single customer that has purchased this stovetop!!!

I see that the knobs issue is a common one based on the reviews here. Out of 60 reviews i read 40 of them are complaining about knobs. When i search for the parts i see that the knob is the top of the list. The complain i have is1) If frigidaire knows that the knobs are trash they should provide free replacements. They should know that it's not an one off situation but everyone has it2) they should have some reasonable price if they want to sell it. $43 for a knob is ridiculousThank you frigidaire for such a bad experience. You lost a customer for life.

I've been using this cooktop for less than 6 months and ALL my knobs are broken. I've tried ordering knobs from everywhere and they don't fit. It's frustrating when you're trying to cook and you have to figure out how you will turn your stove on or off. And they give no solution on how to solve this issue. For the price paid I should have purchased another cook top.

This gas range came installed with my new home. Less than a year, I've had to change all 5 knobs (Electrolux shipped me a replacement). Now the replaced knobs are about to wear out again. I called customer service and was asked to pay for an upgraded knob which cost close to $200 after 50% off. Hopefully, the upgraded knob will not break as well.The knobs are made of plastic material and gets easily broken. I guess they are not able to withstand the heat from the range. I had a range in my previous home for over 5 years, never had an issue.Do not buy this range, you will regret it

I have had the cook top for one year. After one month, one of the knobs broke. I have had to remove other knobs and move them just to operate different burners. Now I have had it for 1 year. All of my knobs are cracked. I have had to buy new knobs, which are $43 a piece with $8 shipping on top of that. This cooktop is a rip off and cheap. DO NOT BUY!

This cook top was the one the builder put in my new home. The cook top itself is fine but the knobs are cheap plastic. It has been 3 months and The knob broke the first time I tried to use the burner. Getting a new one has proved to be a joke. I called the number in the book for warranty to be told it;s the wrong number, given a different number to be told it is wrong, given a third number to be told I need a letter it the end of the model number that can be found under my cook-top ( which she told me to pull up and look for, this is a cook top installed in a granite counter top, she then says I should look under it, which has drawers and there is no physical way to see under it) Needless to say she somehow figured it out and ordered me new knobs. DO NOT BUY THIS COOKTOP unless you want to have to replace the knobs... free while under warranty $60each after.

Just like previous customers, I bought this cooktop because it was a Frigidaire. It is hard to think of another brand that is more synonymous with kitchen appliances than Frigidaire. But just weeks after installation my first knob broke. Within a month three were broken and finally, all five snapped. The design of the knob is about as cheap and ill-advised as it could be. Everything about the cooktop is heavy and solid except for the only moving piece of the unit, the knobs. At this point, Frigidaire figured why not just use plastic. Brilliant.But here is the worst part. I tried to call, without ever getting through, and wrote email and snail mail letters complaining about this problem. The only reply I ever received was a robo email saying how busy they were with Covid but my concerns were important and that as soon as they could possibly manage they would get back to me. What a joke.Even funnier was coming to this page and being tagged with a "How are we doing survey?"What I don't understand is why Frigidaire spends money on these survey companies, hires advertising and PR firms to protect their image and they won't spend a dollar on knobs that will actually work!

This is the second knob that has broken on us. We had one shipped under warranty last year and yet another one is broken. Very inconvenient. Wish they had metal stems instead of the cheap plastic. It is ridiculous to pay 40 plus dollars for a new knob. Perhaps i can get another one under warranty.

This is ridiculous. Brand new home all frigidaire gallery appliances. FFGC3626SS gas cooktop knobs have cheap plastic stem that breaks easily. It is extremely difficult to find replacement knobs with a metal stem. It is dumb to spend $40+ per knob for the same plastic stem knob. Tried calling warranty department and finally got through after sitting on hold forever just to have the call disconnect. Rep never tried to call back. I wish they made things easier.

I love the way this range looks on my countertop, but the knobs are very cheap and 2 have broken within 8 months of having it. Knobs are super expensive to replace. Not sure if it is the heat that makes them weak and then they break or what, but it definitely takes away from the look of the range when one of the knobs is broken and not sitting right.

I like everything else about this cook top in my brand new home but with no abuse, only 2 adults here using it and not even daily these knobs started cracking one by one. Cannot get ahold of warranty dept. Everywhere online or local is $48 ea to replace. 5 knobs at 48. ea is half the cost of the cook top. If you have to replace these every few months it is ridiculous!!! I was so sure Frigidaire was good that I bought the oven & microwave too for my new home, the oven did not work right out of the box after installed. Had to have that repaired. I am not happy about the quality here AND you cannot get through to warranty, it is impossible!

The cook top works great. It looks good too. However, the knobs are cheap and delicate. One broke just 16 months after it was installed. Why not charge 25 bucks more and use steel knobs?

Frigidaire does not cover the knobs with the first year warranty and they charge $57 PER KNOB for the same plastic knob.
