The Frigidaire 7.0 Cu Ft. Chest Freezer fills our need for an economical and reliable freezer unit. The size is right, it can be moved easily, and it steadily holds the temperature at zero degrees reliably. It took a day or two of adjustments to the front panel temperature control to set things right but once that was done no further adjustments were necessary and our ice cream and other frozen goods are preserved perfectly. I rate this as a five star buy for how easy it is to set up and for the quality of the product. If you are looking for a mid-sized freezer chest that runs quietly and efficiently look no further than this one.

It works on a 15 amp circuit and doesn™™t draw a significant load from that circuit. The size allows for more than enough storage for our overstock items. So far, so good!

I bought a refrigerator and the freezer figuring there might not be enough room in the refrigerator freezer turns out, so far, that there is and at the present my freezer is a little light on items, but I may use it more as I re-arrange my eating habits and storage needs. It does maintain 0 degrees

My husband and I went on vacation for a week and came back to a freezer that had died. We had just been grocery shopping before we left. So there went about $500 worth of frozen food. Swell. Got up the next morning and went to Brandsmart. This chest freezer was on sale and really good price. So why not. I brought it. It's twice the size of my old freezer and I love it. It makes very very little noise. My last one could almost keep you up at night. I highly recommend anyone getting this chest freezer.

Found this freezer meets my expectations. It is very quiet to the point that I do not even know it is running. My only concern is finding the baskets for it, everything is an inch too short as this one measures 17.5" for the basket handle rest (3/4" lip) and the only ones I can find are 16.5" which would tend to fall. It came with one but there is room for 4.
