This is the second Frigidaire dehumidifier I've had for our basement. The first one was excellent and ran for more years than I can remember! ?? We have a large, sectioned off basement that sometimes, with very heavy rains, leaks. It would take care of the leftover dampness like a charm! So when it was time for a new dehumidifier, I wanted the best, so another Frigidaire was my no brainer choice... we've had it a few months now (the past month being extremely rainy ??) and it hasn't let us down! We store so much in our basement and I know it will always remain dry and free of mold and mildew, thanks to a company you can trust and a name I can remember from my childhood (68 years ago)! Frigidaire appliances have always been fairly priced and dependable!!!! They have never let us down!

IT SEEMS TO BE DOING AN ADEQUATE JOB DRYING OUT MY BASEMENT AFTER MY SUMP PUMP QUIT WORKING. IT WAS QUICKLY SHIPPED TO ME AT NO COST. I DID NOT WANT TO WAIT FOR THE BIG BOX HARDWARE STORE TO SHIP 9 DAYS LATER..I CHOSE THE 50 PINT AND IT IS REASONABLY QUIET. MY BEDROOM IS DIRECTLY ABOVE AND I DO NOT HEAR IT.. I PRESENTLY HAVE IT ON CONTINUOUS RUN UNTIL I GET BASEMENT DRY AND I WILL THEN REDUCE TO 35 OR 40% TO MAINTAIN.

I have had a Frigidaire Dehumidifier for at least 6 years now for our basement. I do wish they were more robust as we have had several failures during this time. I choose to repurchased the same product this year and also purchased a 5 year extended warranty again. The warranty service has been great and I have found that Frigidaire stands behind their product and promptly replaces the unit if it develops an internal failure code "EC" on the display and quits. I would give it a 5 star rating if I find that this new model more robust than the prior units.

So far it has done a great job of lowering the humidity in our FL Condo. But we do keep the blower on low in order to reduce the noise.

It was big enough to collect water but that model is without the bump so /i need to empty the bucket every 12 hrs and it is not fun, the good is Energy Star hopes to save you some electric bills. I was not sure why the air flowed from the top, not on the side, but it was louder than I had before. Be sure u get an extended warranty it will die soon.

Dehumidifier was purchased online from the Frigidaire website. After UPS delivery, I plugged it in and it doesn't work at all. The control panel briefly lights up before going totally dark. None of the buttons work on the control panel. After a phone call to the warranty dept. (on-hold for 30 mins), I submitted their product replacement form, and I'm now waiting for a follow-up contact from some other department on next steps.

This dehumidifier quietly removes a lot of humidity from our basement. It removes much more humidity than our previous unit and the water container is easier to empty and the filter screen is easy to clean.

It is efficient and does the job well. Removed so much moisture from my basement. I definitely recommend using the hose feature for draining if your basement tends to hold a lot of moisture, otherwise you will need to empty often. Though the unit does hold a good amount.

Over the last 43 years we have had many different types of dehumidifiers. All ranging from inexpensive to very expensive. Easy-to-use, no maintenance to one requiring a yearly maintenance fee and filter exchange of $200.00. Our electric bill would increase up from $95.00 to $225.00 monthly. This is not acceptable when a couple is retired and on social security. Since purchasing the Frigidaire dehumidifier we have been so happy. Our basement is dry, the dehumidifier only runs when needed, and our electric bills have returned to normal. The unit is also very quiet. We are very happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone.

Ive had several brand dehumidifiers - I prefer the Frigidaire unit. It has both internal and external drain options. My units have proven to be reliable and almost carefree. Highly recommend.

I've owned several dehumidifiers thru the years and this one is by far the best and most reliable. Most new small appliances are poor quality these days, but this one appears to be "well-enough" built and worth the money. Works very well, but the truest test will be to discover if it lasts beyond five years!

I had Frigidaire dehumidifier for 5 years running without problem. The last one died in 18 months with EC code a common problem reading Amazon reviews. I doubt this one will last any longer. I need some of the features this model has and couldn™™t find decent make/model that fit my needs so I purchased this again. Sane thing happened with my Frigidaire remote control air conditioner dead after one summer! My old one still works over 10 years. I believe mfr is now producing lesser quality appliances to force more purchases since the older models lasted so long!

The dehumidifier is working as expected. I love the humidity feature so that I can just walk away from it after I set my preferred humidity level and only need to empty it out when the tank is full. Be careful when carrying the tank because it gets pretty full and will spill out

The dehumidifier works well, pulls the moisture out of the air and helps maintain the dry air at a good level. The auto shutoff is helpful to prevent the air from getting too dry. Nice unit!

This is (at least) my third Frigidaire dehumidifier. I continue to buy them because I've found that they last longer than other brands I have had over the years.This one is replacing a 2016 purchased 70 pint model of which I would have rated 5 stars. With recent re-rating of dehumidifier environmental specifications, I expect this one to provide the same moisture removing ability.Over the past 6 weeks it seems to perform well, meaning it's taking plenty of moisture out of my basement, as the 2016 purchased model.My 2016 model felt way more solid than this one. This case, casters, handle - all seem to be made much 'cheaper' even though I paid $50 more for this one. That "feel" caused me to remove 1 star from my rating.This does not have the large 'bucket full' light on the front, which I thought was a nice feature. It only has a small red light on the top.It does have a nice and useful water bucket level gauge the old model did not have. I do like that.All I can hope is the internals were not downgraded as the case, etc, and I get many years of service from his model.

Works great on my 1000sqft 70% humidity basement. Keeps it at a steady 50% in the laundry room, even when placed on the opposite end of the basement. It's very quiet too. I've been able to run on lowest setting, no issues keeping the humidity down.

This dehumidifier works well and is quiet (well, as quiet as a dehumidifier can be). I purchased the newer model because it uses the more efficient R-32 refrigerant. Nice design too! Our last Frigidaire dehumidifier lasted 8 years, hope this new one will last just as long.

Purchased this 50pt., July 2022. A month ago I came home to smelling a burning smell. The motor/fan was not running, but it was still on with a humming noise. When I unplugged it, it was hot to touch. Grateful I came home when I did, as it may have caught on fire! I called Frigidaire and they would not do anything since the warranty expired 2 months earlier!! I did all the quality checks™¦clean the filer, it was fine..etc™¦
