Replace a larger dehumidifier with this unit.Took it out of the box, connected the hose already in place and turned it on. I use this to keep my basement dry and prevent a musty smell. I set it for 45 % humidity and it runs a constant stream of water into my sump. It cycles off and on and the humidity rises and fall. Been operating for over a month and no problems. My last Frigidare lasted 12 years , so I expect a long usefull life fron this one.

I™™m very happy with the product and being I received a brand new one due to the fault of my original product. I did not know I was receiving a new one being it™™s under warranty. No email or call but I™™m satisfied with my product. Hopefully it last firvyears

It™™s a dehumidifer. It™™s not sexy or exciting. It works and regulates the humidity in my room well. The previous model lasted me 8 years of continuous, daily use before the coils failed due to rust, and I hope this one will last as long. I have enough faith in the brand to be a repeat customer.

We did a lot of research before buying and it didn™™t disappoint us. We live in FL and this device brings the humidity down to healthy levels in no time. Easy to navÃgate digital panel and easy to empty front bucket. Air comes in from the back and out to the left side. It has wheels so it™™s easy to move around. Game changer!

We have operated this unit for a short time, but have used the same model (lower capacity) for a couple of years. Effective, responsive and accurate humidistat, reasonably quiet, filter is easy to remove and clean when prompted by the unit. Used in a basement with finished areas. Highly recommended.

I am very happy with this purchase. I bought the 35 Pint Dehumidifier for a finished room in my basement and will most likely be buying a second one in the Spring as the unfinished portion of my basement also needs one. It is the perfect size for me, a 65 year old woman, to lift, carry, and empty a distance away without spilling.

I purchased this dehumidifier to replace a very outdated model. I was immediately impressed with how much more efficient this dehumidifier is!My old one took several days to get my basement humidity level down to a satisfactory level. This dehumidifier too the level in my basement from 72 down to 45 in less than a day. My old unit could never get it down that much. I hope to get a second Frigidaire dehumidifier for the other room in my basement next year. I am extremely pleased with this dehumidifier and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an efficient dehumidifier at a very reasonable price.

We chose to try the Fridgidaire Dehumidifier as our last 2 models from a different manufacturer only lasted 5 years collectively. So far, this one is working great. The only disappointment is it doesn't automatically shut off once the desired humidity level is reached. It only shuts off if the water bin is full.

We purchased this to try a different brand of dehumidifier since the last 2 only lasted a combination of 5 years total. So far it™™s worked great. The only thing I miss on this one is the option for it to shut off once the level of humidity it™™s set to is reached. we have it set to 50 and it was at 45 when I checked it and still running. Only shuts off when bucket is full.

Solid humidifier. I own both the older version 50 pint and new 35 pint version. The new 35 pint version works well in my 1,100 sq ft basement and maintains 55% humidity levels. However, if set it to 50% humidity, it runs almost constantly and struggles to achieve the goal (usually keeping the basement around 52.5% humidity). The older 50 pint version can achieve whatever humidity setting I desire in the basement (on medium setting). On my 1,700 sq ft main floor with cathedral ceilings however, the new 35 pint version cannot maintain proper humidity levels. With it's smaller footprint, I had hoped to be able to keep the less obtrusive model on the main floor - but that isn't possible. It also has a side blower (which can be a benefit or a negative depending on where you choose to place it). The 35 pint model set to high is the same decibel level as the older 50 pint version on medium. Ignore the decibel levels on the website - I own both models and placed a sound meter next to them. The older 50 pint model can easily maintain humidity levels on my 1,700 sq ft main floor with cathedral ceilings. I have never set it past medium (to keep decibel levels down) and it works just fine. The tank on the old 50 pint version is much larger than the newer model... so it requires slightly less emptying.So, my suggestion is as follows:New 35 Pint version: No more than 1,000 sq ft for ~52-55% humidity levels. 58-60 decibels on high.50 Pint version: Up to 2,000 sq ft for 45%+/- humidity levels when set to medium (58-60 decibels on medium). Even better humidity levels when set to high.

The new 35-Pint Dehumidifier replaced a defective GE unit that was only about 1 year old. I bought this smaller unit specifically for my office so that I didn't need to move my 50-Pint Frigidaire unit from room to room. This 35-Pint unit is quiet and has improved the air quality in my office.

This is my first dehumidifier. Now I wish I had it earlier in life. I was amazed at how much moisture it pulled out of the air in our basement bathroom. It is very easy to use. The water bucket has a cover to prevent messes when emptying. I allows for a hose to empty directly into a floor drain. I don't have a drain handy, but this is a real cool feature as well. The room feels so much more comfortable since this purchase! Highly reccomended.

A remodeled base with French doors and a closet door began sticking as this summer progressed. This 35 pint unit ran for just a few days before the doors were back to normal. It cycles on and off normally maintaining a steady humidity level. Worth the investment.

We purchased this product as our last Frigidaire dehumdifier just recently stopped working after 14 yrs! We feel confidence in using their product again. So far, it has been a great unit in the couple of weeks that we have been using it. ! It is quiet, and reduced the humidity in a matter of a few short hours. It is simple to use and easy to empty the bucket when it fills up. It is easy to move around if we need to with the wheels on the bottom. I would strongly recommend others to make this purchase. We have the 35 pint version but Frigidaire would be a super purchase no matter what size you need,

I like it small size, light-weight, water-sucking efficiency and quiet. It does take at least 35 pints per day. Water bucket is smaller than the previous model so I have to dump water every 1-2 days

Unfortunately it has not stopped running and has not hit level set. They did not have it in stock where I bought it and inquired if it could work within a 900 sq foot basement. I was told easily. I had an LG for 12 years prior and that one did get it down to selected level and i could set it for 2 hour intervals but this is NOT the case with the Frigidaire

The original unit failed within a year and the company replaced the unit due to warranty. The replacement until then failed 10 months later and they refused to replace due to being outside of the original year warranty. Poor manufacturing and leaking. Stay away from this unit!
