Great Unit, I wish I could register it with Frigidaire

Just installed this unit and it is much quieter than our old one.However, when attempting to register this unit with Frigidaire, neither the model #(FF13DISC1) nor the serial number (GH22-199509) were recognized by their system. I hope someone will read this and register it for me.

This is the best garbage disposal I™€™ve had in 20 years. This is the third one I™€™ve had since I moved in my home 20 years ago and it™€™s so quiet and takes care of anything I push down in it. I would recommend you replace yours if it™€™s loud. You can hardly hear this one

Website does not allow registration of this model number, and neither Chat nor Text works.

I tried to register this product, but this website's registration page does not recognize the model. Trying to get user help (installation instructions) recognizes the model, but it then only tells me to register the product. Choosing Chat or Text under support gets no response.

Not sure yet. I bought it because it was top ranked in consumer reports. The rubber flaps are different than most (ISE, Moen, etc) as they are removable from inside the sink. Cool, great for cleaning! What I have found is they trap water in the sink, rather than letting it flow to the disposer and drain. Not sure this is the real deal. Long warranty likely to create quality fir a newer product. ISE is probably a better play.

Great™€" One Critical Caveat

It's quiet and works well. The problem is ZERO info for an island install. Needs the safety/drain cover magnetic switch that KA and other manufacturers have in place. Thus it COULDN'T be activated unless cover in place. Small hands and a too accessible switch don't go together.

Purchased on Amazon and it's MUCH more quiet and reliable than the insinkerator that came with my home (I was having to crank it with a hex tool to get it to run). The only caveat is that there's a loud sharp noise (metal hitting metal) when it starts, which makes it very loud just for a split second, then it's quite quiet. I was able to use my old mounting bracket which made installation a breeze. If the loud snap goes away with time I will be a 100% satisfied customer.
