Doubled the flow , maybe more.

My water supply at the fridge was low. I have a reverse osmosis drinking water system. I thought why should I filter the water again. After installing the bypass filter the water flow at the refrigerator more than doubled. That is exactly the result I was hoping for. Thanks.

Our ice maker water line was freezing after we installed a reverse osmosis (RO) system to filter the water. The water line hasn™€™t frozen since we replaced the old filter with this bypass unit.

Made water and ice cubes taste awful

After replacing old filter with new one our water and cubes are not edible. Made them both taste awful. Now buying bottled water and ice from store. How can I fix this issue?

I purchased this filter from Frigidaire thinking I was getting a genuine actual filter, but in fact, it is a Bypass part ONLY! My question is why would Frigidaire sell this product in the first place? Also, due to large volume calls, I can't get through to customer support to do an exchange! This is so disappointing as a customer!

Makes it so my already filtered water doesn't get filtered again

So in other words, the other reviews should be 5 star - because a bypass doesn't actually filter, it bypasses! This is great for rental properties where I don't want to get a call because the fridge is leaking when the tenant hasn't changed the filter in however long. Thank you for this!
